Late in 2001, my current US software company's
CEO met and invited me to join them. I was then
put into the IT director position, which I don't
totally understand why to this day.
At the moment, most of my time is wasted, burying
my face onto the computer screen in a 4x4 room
or running around the office training and coaching
people in doing things they have been trained
and known better. With all hectic hours doing
crazy IT things and projects, it’s natural
for me to sneak escapes, travelling around the
country whenever I can. With mountains on the
West, ocean on the East, ethnic peoples in the
mountains, farmers in the prairies, fishermen
along the coasts, flowers on the hills, people
living around keeping producing babies at a dizzying
speed, my photos end up with nature, landscape,
farming, daily life, flowers, people, and children
- you name it. As with IT, I have no formal training
in photography and am learning all by trial and
errors. I wish I can afford a decent digital camera
later to save so many wasted negatives. I am very
much appreciate the fact that many photographers
have put photo tips and trick on the net. When
I have more time, I certainly will try to learn
and practice them all.
Well, since some of you have enquired about the site motivation, I think I owe you all a heartfelt answer
here. Growing up as a member of the society and
the country, I always feel obliged to do something
for my beloved country. And with my current limited
capability, the web site is my little personal
contribution dedicated to Vietnam and the
community I am living in. That’s it for
my bio and thank you for bearing with me this
far. My email is buuson@bestphotosvn.com and please
feel free to contact me whenever you want for
anything about the web site. |
